The idea behind this is to get players to actively play rated PvP zhrough the week. Not only get "1 win per week" to activate the high itemlvl of the reward, but to really play rated pvp. If casuals don't join in masses, then this will suck more than it helps: casual PvP players will be neglected from valuable upgrades, which puts them in even a worse position in the PvP ecosystem
But just because they are casual they will join late, get destroyed by actual PvP player and give up.
So as a dev I see the point but as a player I've already accepted that I work use that PvP gear xD
Its a bad decision for most of the PvPers. Just let the players to what they want. I kinda "can" understand this change, but it's not helping ppl. Many player dont like rated PvP, so why forcing them into it. Not many ppl on my FL will definitly dont play SL...
