These systems are run by people. They didn't just magically appear. So it isn't necessarily individuals as it is collectives. Collectively white people spur white supremacy. Collectively men spur patriarchy. Collectively straight people spur homophobia.
That is a stupid take. I am a half-white, heterosexual man, i never would become a white-suprem/patriachy-loving/homophob just because other white hetero men are around me.
