Someone said that, as a white man, I am not allowed to give my Trolls Jamaican or African names, they said that using the names is cultural appropriation. Is that true? It doesnt feel right. I feel like my Troll names are perfect, but am I wrong?

Im not really a big roleplayer in game, all my stories take place in my head. I read that Troll society is largely based on a mix of Incan and various African cultures, so I decided to use an African name because I felt it would fit the most. Plus the name sounds nice.
