If you have something to convert back from PNG to BLP (I believe there's a Photoshop plug-in somewhere for it) then yes, in theory it could work. One issue you will run into however for skinned armour (ones that are painted onto your skin) is that they come as individual--

--textures. If you upscaled them individually, you will most likely lose the seamlessness between them. To counter this, you would need to merge the aligned pieces together, upscale it as one joined piece, and then split it back into separate textures.pic.twitter.com/DUfQ1NQujT
