I don't like the toxic way in which some players express their feedback about this system, although I understand their reasons. It really feels like we have been here before (but it is too early to be really sure).pic.twitter.com/4gXTyh34fC

Players are concerned about the long-term consequences of a simple choice that is supposed to be roleplay-based (where would your character fit in the most). If those covenant-skills are a core part of the new system, they WILL matter, their effects will be strong.pic.twitter.com/ryOv2vfOiU
From reading what blizz has shown so far, we can tell that there will be skills one "has to go with" in different competitive scenarios (and this is a real point of interest for a lot of players, not only those 1% Gladiators or Myth raiders).pic.twitter.com/oTOKOEzLvF
I don't think that those skills can be "balanced", nor that Blizz has shown good results with that promise. Not being toxic here, but this is just a true fact.pic.twitter.com/LbATdjEEg8
If I play my Tank/Ret in Arena/BG/Myth+ I dont wan't to miss out a very important skill that may bring a "big difference" in my performance (yet, we dont know exact numbers), so, if I play Myth+ in the afternoon and Arena at night, will it make sense to change my covenant?
Will it be even possible to "easily" change the covenant? And how will that constant changing or picking of BiS covenant feel for players that also want to pick a covenant for their flair/lore/transmog (I count myself in that group)?pic.twitter.com/4bhdEUbME0
A lot of these questions will and should change during alpha and beta. But one thing is sure already: These covenant-skills have a big potential for controversy and could be very problematic for the whole XPac like Azerith did for BFA.
Why are a lot of WoW player so performance-driven? That is a whole other topic, but in a game that rewards and highlights the best and fastest players and tries to build an eSport scene (Myth+/Arena/Raiding) based on that... I don't know... we are only part of that system...pic.twitter.com/sx4P6gHHqX
