I personally don't get the flack with mobile games to be honest. I think it's fine if Blizzard branches out to mobile games as it's not going to make production of other products slower. In fact, because of the additional revenue they might be able to hire more devs-

and purchase better equipment. And therefore they'd be able to develop games/resources much faster with better quality. Especially since development costs for games have been rising for the past few years. Gotta make up the difference somehow.

I hate that the direction of money in gaming is going to mobile, but I can't ignore that that is indeed the trend.

cheaper to produce, bigger potential audience, greater revenue opportunities in general. It is a logical conclusion to invest in mobile too
