My endgame pillar is the story. Nine of the group content stuff appeals to me, but it's been hard to get through BfA with so much uncertainty about how the story is going to go. I do not trust Blizzard yet to tell the story the right way.
I love the lore too! I wouldn't include it as a "endgame pillar" though, at least not in our itemization/reward context :D Since questing though story is not competitive and gear almost doesnt matter to play the story of the game. I agree with your feeling about the storytelling
