In that regard it did good, yes. And I dont want to sound like an elitist asshole or tell people what they are not allowed to do, but with the current Meta it is so frustrating to see people coming into PvP to be carried for rewards and bringing 0 to the table for a victory.
In LFR or in PvE in general being carried may work, others can compensate your missing gear. In PvP that isnt the case, it is like playing with 1 player less, and that is crucial. And frustrating if it happens on your side (hello EU alliance).

And I can't think that they are really havung fun with 60k hp, knowing that they mess up the balance for their own team + being 3-shotted by enemies. Being reasonable leads to the only conclusion that a basic gear should be aquired somewhere else but not in PvP.
