As a lot of other things in wow: it is a complex problem with many reasons and no easy solution. A lot of people dislike(d) Ashran, for different reasons. I would also prefer the endless version, but I dont see enough popularity or balance for that. Legion Ashran showed that
Adding special rewards would only force people to join ashran that dislike it already and/or people that will just afk in there for loot. And yeh, the strenght imbalance in ashran is more due to the players skill of the factions than the map itself. I play(ed) both factions.
