The basic version is very easy to learn. The gramatic is easy, only 1 article, latin letters with no special additions, straightfoward use of basic times and verb constructions.

Culturaly, we get the american english because of US influence in media. In either case we stick to a basic version, it is difficult to understand any accent/dialect independent from where it is from^^ i understand L.A. Spanglisch better than any bloody Birmingham slang xD
