Well they attacked Saurfang first. It's quite possible Sylvanas sent 2 rogues to FIND Thrall just to keep tabs, and when the A number 1 horde fugitive Saurfang turns up they decide to take him out. That, or any number of other things people can't be bothered thinking about :)

You imply in your scenario that Saurfang knew about and followed the 2 rogues from Azeroth to Outland that were sent to spy on Thrall.
