There is the Story aspect. It made no sense that Sylvanas would send Rogues after Thrall. The rest was fine tho
Yes, why should Thrall be killed? That was a point for speculation (idk if intentional or not) for me, did the old orc lie to Thrall in that moment?

Well they attacked Saurfang first. It's quite possible Sylvanas sent 2 rogues to FIND Thrall just to keep tabs, and when the A number 1 horde fugitive Saurfang turns up they decide to take him out. That, or any number of other things people can't be bothered thinking about :)

Maybe Saurfang wasn´t saying the truth. I mean, how should he be able to follow invisible people? It would break his Honor but that is the most likely explanation.

Most of the other Horde leaders are unhappy with Sylvanas - some are actively working against her. Sending assassins after Thrall is a sensible if utterly ruthless thing to do at this point because he is one of the few leaders the Horde could unite under.

I think it's very believable that Sylvannas would want Thrall killed. He is a leader that is loved by everyone who hates her, and that has a history of coming back to kill a corrupt warchief. He has potential to be a threat to her. I don't see how people need an explaination.
