I got some video material from some friends about their gaming on "vanilla" servers. I am supposed to make a promo video for them, to recruit for wow classic :) After watching the whole material I am less hyped for classic somehow... I had the gameplay more glorious in my memory
PvP will be all about farming Raid-Gear, broken consumables/gadget items, and have to have engineering as profession. Although the spell-batching allows "skilled countering" some stuff, some classes just 2-3 hit others within seconds and sometimes its just running around.
On how you "progress" your character, the system will go back to reward those investing a looooooot of time. In PvP you wont have a stand against players who have the time, although being half as skilled as you. Personally I cant afford that time, is it worth even trying then?
Nostalgia and you being a lot younger back has a huge impact on how you remember things, dropping the bad parts and only keeping the good ones. People will be in for one hell of an awakening but classic servers existing is a good thing, I am sure it'll be successful
