This AI pvp is quite interesting (saying that as Glad/HotH player). It may help to introduce new people to pvp and make the pvp community less toxic. If the "skill level" of AI is adaptable I see no reason why not to have an own PvAI ladder for RBGs.

If you are matched against AI mirror-classes and mirror-roles a lot of balancing issues are eliminated (cause both sides play the same meta) and would allow players to play with any class/specc/combination they want (not like FOTM Metas that have been to followed).

Because of that, group-forming is more flexible (and faster) and additionally the queue times are lower because as soon as 10 ppl queue, the corresponding AI enemies (Roles, Skilllevel, Faction) are generated, not like now, where you have to wait so long (eg. horde in random bg).

I find the idea itself very interesting :) It can tackle balancing and matchmaking problems that are very difficult (if not impossible) to solve because of the nature of PvP, Classes, Specializations, Skilllevels, Gearlevels, Faction Imbalance, etc. etc.

I agree with that , but it's need to be something different than pvp and pvp gear for me. Otherwise , everybody would go to the easy way of not waiting queue and this would kill actual pvp. It's like they introduce a dungeon queue were you play with anAI so no waiting for

tank or healer when you are dd , you just tag and hop you go do your dungeon or raid with the AI instead of players. For me, this really need to be something apart from real pvp or pve ; like they did with warfront and island expedition.
