Unimpressive. The acting is meh, and Brie doesn't really manage to put a lot of emotion into the character. The plot is self-defeating and doesn't make sense at points (Bad guys looking for X, in a flashback we find out the Bad Guys had X all along. Why are they still looking?)

We're given no scale for Cpt. Marvel's power, and so she just comes off as "however strong she needs to be", without giving the viewer an idea of what she's capable of. She also comes across as unbeatable and too strong, since even at her weakest she takes on an entire ship alone

It’s okay-ish, samual L Jackson and the cat are cool, but I think they only character trait cpt. Marvel has is strong women, for me she is missing character deepness. So overall a decent movie, not the best but also not the worst
