      strange thing about all this, is that content creators profit from the bad time wow is having. Call it ranting or critizising, being negative about the game gives views, and thats their interest. The changes happening on blizz (firing CS to hire devs) is also what they called for

      WoW channel revenue is significantly down, WoW being in a bad state is very bad for channels who cover it. Me, Nobbel, Preach, T&E all have historically low numbers currently. Long term that doesn’t hold water.

      Disappointment about classic?Why? Its going to be the same game with the same content, nothing is changing but minor QOL stuff. There are no hopes to be crushed here, How can you be dissapointed if you already like the version, know the content and have played in private servers?

      If you played private servers, you'll probably be happy with Classic at launch. For most people who are interested in Classic but either haven't played Vanilla since live or got into WoW after it, the realization that Vanilla actually kinda sucked is going to be a cruel one.

      I really think that the mindset of people is very important. If people are equally pity for classic as they are for retail, then classic will have a bad time.
