I love some movies critics hated (Warcraft, 2012), and really didn't like or care for some critics' favorites (The Godfather - yeah, I said it. I'm trying to go less off of Rotten Tomatoes and the like, especially if it's a movie I'm excited about. Generall, if I'm on a fence, RT might sway me from paying theater price, but I'll still see it. Another example: Solo. Critically not loved, but I LOVED THE HECK OUT OF IT

I am similar, but with games, I bought GTA 4 cos all the critics loved it, i could not stand that game, It just played wrong for me. Since then i just look at game play trailers and see if it interests me
