just putting things in perspective :D nowadays players would never invest that much time to get that mount. I personally don't like the ingame shop, but there is certainly a player base for that, preferring to pay 2h of RL work money instead of weeks of ingame grind... :D

Players invest more time in grinding now - and get nothing but larger damage numbers for it. We have been grinding Azerite for five months.

Mh, I disagree with you. Unless you are a Mythic Raider there is actually no big reason to grind azerith because you get it automatically by doing any actual content (WQ, Island Exp, PvE, PvP, etc.). I have all slots unlocked with both main chars and never "grinded" azerith.

Azerite is as optional as the Winterspring frostsaber was only now the grind is infinite
