Seeing discourse on Ashe looking young from overwatch. Um..people can be old and look young IRL it's a thing.I've had to deal with it. When I was 18 I looked like I was 12. I walked in for a job application at 18. Lady looked at me & told me straight up they don't hire kids.

Ashe ain't even old either, shes what 35? Lol She totally looks her age. I actually thought she was in her 40s by the way she was portrayed.

Yeah, I've seen other comments and I was like wait a minute I'm 36 and don't look "old".

Her bio lists her as 39, I believe, which still isn't "old" imo but for some reason it seems like once women pass 35, we're considered old and no longer warrant any sort of significant representation in media etc. "Too old" to satisfy male gaze, too young to be the "old matron".

The whole mentality is just ignorant. My wife is 29 and still gets mistaken for a 12-14 year old regularly and often asked if she's really old enough to be working. My sister is 35, with three children, and always gets asked if she's her 15 y/o son's sister.

Some people just age better than others. People don't wanna believe that though.
