So can anyone tell me what we actually spend conquest on? It appears as if they still won’t add a specific vendor, so we get 500 a week and it just sits in our currency tab til bfa ends?
There is a progess of items for each week. You can choose from whatever the quest vendor offers (different weapons this week). You can not spend the points specifically on any item, like cataclysm. There is a order of weekly rewards you cant avoid, even if you try to bank points

I understand how the bar works. I filled it bought the weapon and still have 500 conquest in my currency tab I’m wondering what that is used for?

yeah, i got more there, cause the CP from the first day didn't count... Maybe it is something to compare how far one is with the farming of those points. I dont know if that number in the currency tab will be useful for something.
