As the article states: the biggest challenge is to unite already existing lore and gameplay into a new system. WoW is about azeroth. But I see the possibility of a third faction only with a new landmass/planet. Idk how to compose the lore around it.

They can get the lore to a point where the Horde doesn’t exist based on Varian threatening to end the Horde if they act like Garrosh did again and Jania’s direction. Part of me wonders if they’re going “one faction” given the system changes we’ve seen (AI, FFA PvP).
