As far as I have tested it myself on beta: It is already a good adaption of W3, as far as a MMO can go. Multiple battle-locations based on (dynamic and) strategic events, harvesting and building/upgrading a base. Altar of storms enhancing single players to act like heroes.
I miss is the possibility to send npcs to specific points on the map. I guess decisionmaking for the overall tactic is missing compared with wc3, but that lies in the nature of the game. 20 random players in MMO is not the same as 1 player in top down strategy game.
A voting system would be cool, on important decisions there can be a democratic voting for 30 seconds (where NPC should attack) and/or players can permanently delegate their voting to another player (possible Leader). An Abathur-like approach :)
