John’s argument is that there are too few scientists in Congress. If he was elected, he’d be one of two. And that the legislative body needs people like him to help find “evidence-based solutions” for America’s problems.

John know he’s not the front-runner in the massive primary, but he’s feeling good about engagement with voters: 55,000 according to him so far. He’s pretty standard on most Democratic issues. But his signature proposal is expanding free child care at community colleges.
