I’ve just returned from Florida & my first holiday in two years & for two weeks nobody mentioned Covid, no masks (unless you want to wear one), no vaccine passports or blaming anybody for case numbers and life is normal and I return to Covid hysteria and doom and gloom.

It’s sad reading some of the comments online from people who disagree with removing all restrictions. It’s almost like percentage of the population have Stockholm Syndrome from being fed so much negative Covid news for two years. I can happily say they didn’t get it from me.
Tonight I walked away from a restaurant after some 19 year old with a mask hanging under her chin said I needed a passport aswell as my vaccine cert. I never agreed with vaccine certs in the first place but the idea of producing other docs just to darken their door is ridiculous.
What actual hell is going on. Full maskless 70k capacity stadiums, tens of thousand seater venues, clubs, bars and everywhere there is no masks but RTÉ #latelateshow still demands it’s tiny audience all were masks. At this stage it’s just creepy.

I spoke to Prof. Jack Lambert (Consultant in Infectious Diseases at the Mater hospital) who thinks the Irish government are over reacting to Covid and new variants and agrees we need to stop lockdowns and restrictions and live with the virus.
Considering only vaccinated people can go to bars and restaurants and now they are closing bars and restaurants early to ‘curtail the spread of Covid’, what rabbit hole theory is being used to prove what difference this restriction will make. I’m confused!
So let’s just be clear about these new restrictions . When the indoor dinning eventually opens and If I’m 21 and not vaccinated, I can work in a restaurant and walk around serving customers for eight hours indoors but when my shift ends I can’t sit down as a customer. #Brilliant

I’ve been to restaurants that ask but almost apologise for asking for the certs but treat you with the respect you deserve as a customer but any premises that treats me like I’m 18 getting past a doorman in a nightclub can shove their food up their holes.
Quite shocking to see department of justice confirm that 5,074 people seeking asylum presented either “false or no documentation”. This means almost 40% of the people applying for international protection here last year did not have valid travel documents.
Thousands of asylum seekers arrive at Dublin Airport with no travel documents. So we have no idea as to the identity or background (criminal or otherwise) of people arriving here. Surely this is a dereliction of duty by the state to protect its citizens.

I just listened to very disturbing recording on Instagram of a very polite man tell a Garda in Cork at a checkpoint he needed to go to A&E for Counselling for depression. The Garda then tells him, I don’t believe you and you are putting my life in danger, now Go Home.
Sinn Féin supports puberty blockers for children despite evidence of potential harm and so many countries banning their use for minors including the NHS who have restricted availability as evidence shows they can be harmful. The madness continues!
