There's lots of cool things happening at Arcadia this year, and if you're joining online they're going to be streamed in the Biome Gallery cinema. The Gallery is one of the things I'm proudest of in recent years; a sprawling online space with multiple libraries & a haunted house

Pics from a trip up Lucklawhill yesterday
View along a forest path, with the path illuminated by the afternoon Autumn sunlight. Either side of the path, a dense undergrowth of grasses and ferns, flanked by a variety of deciduous trees.
View along an open woodland path, again illuminated by dappled Autumn sunlight. Undergrowth primarily made up of grasses, with a mix of pines and deciduous trees filling out the space.
Further along the previous path, where the canopy is a bit more open and the trees a bit more sparse. Thick grass and outcrops of ferns on the ground.
Close up of a spiky yellow flower (Ragwort, I believe) on a hillside field, lit by Autumn sunlight. The field falls away behind the flower, with views over the surrounding farmland and, in the top right, a tiny glimpse of the sea.

Finally got round to checking out UE5, and it is pretty cool having a modular synth just built into a game engine like this. I'm thinking that next year I might have to switch away from Unity for the audio programming module I teach.
