SBCL doesn't accept pull requests. Or even look at them. You have to send the patch to the mailing list as instructed in the HACKING file

Thank you very much, I'm glad I didn't "conveniently" have to wait MONTHS to learn of this.

Someone should write a bot that sends a mail everytime a PR is received.

Something like that. Additionally, since not even looking at pull requests while there are already many open and closed ones is VERY surprising behavior, there should be explicit warnings in the README and/or HACKING and other places saying that pull requests are not accepted...

I disagree, considering that github is an (unofficial?) mirror, the project is hosted on sourceforge. One doesn't make accomodations for the mirror. A HACKING file is kinda old school but provides clear instructions

I would say that that looks very much like an official mirror, and that systematically throwing contributions submitted in accordance to reasonable assumptions into a black hole without clear prior warnings is not a great policy, unless nihilism is an explicit object of devotion.

@Ngnghm Hello, your page at http://tunes.org/wiki/clos_20mop.html … links to 2 broken versions of CLOS MOP spec. (http://www.elwoodcorp.com/alu/mop/ is a page with broken (404) links while https://www.lisp.org/mop/ is 404.) Please consider linking to my modern CLOS MOP spec instead: https://clos-mop.hexstreamsoft.com/2 replies 0 retweets 1 like

Sorry to hear it. That page is #8 on google for "clos mop" without the quotes, so I was hoping to inherit some google juice while helping direct users to a more useful resource...
