I tried that, and macOS tells me (as I'm root): Operation not permitted. Looks like Apple is making the GNU project's propaganda.

Interesting. Using the latest macOS 10.13.2, with no other application running but iTerm2 (or Terminal). Can't chmod or mv the http://iTunes.app directory, or any of the files under it. Works fine for other applications. Sounds like "DRM" to me.
