Lenovo Yoga 900 status: reboots after a random number of seconds in the BIOS menu; fails not too long after boot on Windows; works fine under Linux. This computer has taste and personality and clear preferences as to its Operating System. Persists after change of motherboard.

Freezing seems to happen when using Chrome and not while developing code (so far), which suggests overheating of some component that the rest of Linux doesn't use (as much), but that Windows and the BIOS abuse constantly and/or don't know how to turn off. Maybe the GPU?
