When I need to write a script, my first reflex is to reach for a shell, but by purposefully using Lisp instead, I get such a more satisfying result.

babashka is AOT compiled using GraalVM to a platform specific binary and it is very fast.

Babashka is great when you need jvm clojure, otherwise planck is fine if clojurescript suffices

Pretty fast! Using plk (vs clj) anyway, because planck is clojurescript-based (v8). I think babashka solves this problem with graalvm for regular clojure?
