It's one thing to conflate subtyping with inheritance. But an OO person has a very peculiar way of talking about polymorphism that seems to exclude parametric polymorphism. It's really weird.

Hmm... We could go back and forth, but we can feel gaslit without concrete examples. That goes for both of us. I still though feel that because of the more academic background among FP enthusiasts, there's notably more precision, and we need more of that.

Man, I dunno. I've seen Haskellers use Elm and get really upset about the lack - if it's just a nomenclatural issue, fine, maybe we can do better about being more explicit.
