@YouTube I have a vivo v9 and a good Wi-Fi connection, all the save data settings are off and still my phone won't display above 720p on the YouTube app. However on the online version, it can display up-to 2160p? I've been looking for a solution for a while now, hElP

Thanks for reaching out. We're trying to understand the issue better. Are you saying your downloaded video quality is 720p and the same video when you're streaming online showing higher resolution? Please share more specifics and screenshots to help you better.

Attached are screenshots of the playback quality settings for the same video on browser and on the app. The app doesn't give me an option to watch with a quality above 720p. :/pic.twitter.com/yNdsWOwChk

Hmm, that does seem odd. Can you try uninstalling the app updates> restart your device> reinstall app updates. This mostly fixes most intermittent issues. Let us know if that makes a difference.

Hmm, to uninstall app updates, you'll have to navigate to Google Play> My apps & games> Installed> YouTube> Selecting "Uninstall" will uninstall all app updates to your device. You can then restart your device and reinstall by following the same steps. Let us know if this helps.

That's what I did before and I just did it again for good measure but to no avail.pic.twitter.com/pQSrLyan1L
