    My daughter is in lockdown. Mass shooting literally in front of her apartment building. Not sure if the suspect(s) were caught. Military is there now, in addition to police. So far three victims, one a child. I’m a nervous momma right now.

    This is crazy. It was a bag of chips. The boy is 8 years old. Compare this incident to the time when racist police officers were cheering Kyle Rittenhouse for toting an illegal AR15 & then supporters were murdered.

    This is a sad trend. Guns are also the #1 cause of death for American children & teens (0-19).

    An analysis of cities with nearly 1/4 of the nation’s gun homicides in 2020 revealed that 3.6K children lost a parent to shootings. If the trend remained consistent across the country, it would mean that more than 15K children in America lost a parent to gun-related violence.
