I’m pretty sure this was a primary argument against raising the minimum wage to $15/hr from the start. Didn’t take long for economic principles to show themselves.

But they will work fewer hours for the same amount of money. $7.25 x 40 hours is about the same $15 x 20 hours. I think Bernie’s staff is pleased.

Cutting employees' working hours in order to afford higher wages? Who could've possibly seen this coming? Next week he'll replace most of his staff with robots and kiosks.

Bernie was already covering healthcare and other benefits so in exchange they weren’t getting 15 an hour, but they started to negotiate for 15 an hour and in compromise they work less. Also Bernie’s campaign is the only one with a union for its workers.
