Wow! They have $6,000 to $9,000 to cover all their expenses. Very significative savings for "poor" people. With $10,000 anyone can buy a decent home in that country. Cost of living is cheap there, they're poor bc never aspired/worked for anything. Want gringos to bail them out

. Nope.. but I bet she needs insulin

Exactly the type of person to push down the taxpayers' throat for a $5,000 healthcare premium. Potential Welfare queen.
-
Yup... I see her type in the ER all the time for non-emergent complaints. Needs a translator, entitled attitude, has 4 kids under 8 yrs and wants a prescription for OTC Tylenol or Motrin so Medicaid pays for it. Then they have the nerve to get pissy when the don’t get opioids rx

Absolutely! USA is now their destination to get sedated. Reminds me of proclivity of people from middle East and African regions to suffer sickle-cell. They don't arrive in USA looking for a job, very demanding women want to be sedated for life as their body aches, can't work

This is an invasion. There are plenty of ways to do this safely, efficiently and legally. They refuse. This is what happens.
-
If these same people were outside our politicians gated communities doing this, make no mistake it would be handled. Instead they allow us to be left unprotected.

it is sad that they don't respect the police. That's why crime is so high in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. You should not expect different when they arrive to the US. I hope the good people among them is safe. I pray for them and the will of God be done in everything!

Go back home or come legally
-
That is not a realistic option for these people. Grow up and stop over simplifying.
-
It’s not realistic to invade other people’s land don’t be sensitive
-
It is not invading. If I was fleeing with my family because of the kind of conditions that these people are fleeing and I was running up against the barriers that these people are running up against, I would still fight every way I could to get to the people that would help.
-
Knocking down barriers running into other people’s countries is not invading?
By the way I am grown up and got to grow up in the greatest country in the world because my LEGAL IMMIGRANT ancestors came here the right way. -
The chaos and violence that is happening is because we are not handling this situation like adults. We should have prepared when we knew a group of refugees was coming. Set up a processing center, worked with Mexico etc... Instead only fear mongering, no intelligent planning.
-
Or even better, how about we don’t destabilize the region to begin with? It’s the United States that is responsible for that. Do we not have any responsibility to help those that we caused this issue for?
