The worry isn’t that they are right, or wrong. The worry is that if they are right, the US is profoundly screwed. Normally in a downturn the government cranks up spending and the deficit to create jobs. The deficit is at record highs and the government wanted the bunkers.

@melliott7031 you are spot on. Those lying, self-serving crooks in the GOP know better. You fix a leaky roof on a sunny day. Not when it's poring rain. Idiots.

Economists made mistakes before. They will make mistakes again, who knows. In predicting the stock markets, they are just as good as fortune tellers.

Yes . . . That is math, history, science And it peaked bc Trump forced inflation w/ his tax cuts to rich and trade wars . . . The Republicans short term mentality always destroys the economy. Now they'll go to war and borrow more to create an artificial economy

Macro Economics is almost an exact science . . . We've come a long way after so many recessions. The metrics dont lie and like the Titanic, if 5 or more compartments are compromised, going down is inevitable.

Which “economists “ are these. Economy will continue going on because Trump has a capitalist approach and not a socialist one like your friends from the left. Sadly u r like others promoting fake news. Your journal is fading.
