Typhus is flea-borne and probably closely related to the high rate of homelessness and human feces all over the streets of the Socialist Paradise of California. But Laura is right. They aren't vaccinated like US citizens. It's simple logic. Something Newsweak lacks.

They are likely tougher and healthier than we are. Most of us couldn’t make the trek they are making. And they didn’t grow up playing video games and watching TV.

Pure BS. These poor folks are carrying many ailments, some deadly to our own kids who will be in contact with them in our taxpayer funded public schools. If this sounds biased or bigoted so be it! I grew up in a 3rd world country and it's a sick stew of diseases.

“Suggest” or “acknowledge the possibility?” Like, did she suggest they get a disease? Wow the media really sucks at their job. Laura’s anticipation of possible disease brought here by the caravan is very perceptive. At least one news reporter is doing their job.

Because unvaccinated populations are most certainly vectors. But Republicans are anti-science.

That r's are anti-science. You know that isn't true. That is a leftist talking point and you spout it like a good little obedient npc.

Um, do you not realize I was being sarcastic? The Leftists always accuse R's of being anti science but say there's 56 genders, for example.

I contacted inactive TB in 1977 in Germany. I was treated daily for 1 year. If I failed to show up for treatment, I was facing arrest and quarintene until treatment was complete. That was right here in the US. I gladly did my part to avoid possibly infecting others.

You think they’ve been vaccinated against diseases we’ve eradicated? If they’re so poor and their country of origin is poor I doubt it; so it’s reasonable that they could bring viruses etc. and cause outbreaks. LA has typhoid among homeless...
