        Yes it is one of the definitions. But, following Hitler and totalitarian states declaring themselves nationalists, the commonly accepted definition shifted. A true genius would recognize the value of following social norms. Perhaps Isolationist and Patriot would be better?

        All three of these terms can be found in junior high history books. Easy reads. Patriot has never fallen from grace. Nationalist, on the other hand, has close to a century of poor taste.
