The rise of Bernie to failed presidential hopeful & Ocasio-Cortez to current candidate has been truly staggering ...tho of course this refers to their rise as shallow media darlings.

It would be the crescendo of the “we want free stuff” movement and the beginning of our inevitable financial collapse.

Anything that has any kind of value is made, mined, grown, produced, & processed by working people. So why shouldn’t working people own that wealth? Capitalism means that rich business men own the wealth, while socialism means that the people who make the wealth own it.

Labor is merely a transaction where you sell your time and effort to someone willing to compensate you for it. When you go to work, you are compensated for your labor. Nothing else is owed to you. Socialism is nothing more than a false sense of entitlement born of greed and envy.

Due to economic inequality, the purchase of labor cannot occur under "free" conditions. Since capitalists control the means of production & workers control only their labor, the worker is naturally coerced into allowing their labor to be exploited or face starvation.

Who cares?! The real problem the socialist horde brings is not a few socialist ideas for the poor worker on the street. That's needed but irrelevant! The real problem is they want to move away from oil which will remove the dollar being pegged to it, which will kill the U.S.A.!

Oh I’m sure it’ll happen. I just hope they have actual feasible plans for what they want to socialize. No, I don’t think we’d turn into Venezuela. However, I do think it’s not as easy as they’d like everyone to believe. Also, if it fails, I hope they can admit fault. Doubt it

@Newsweek needs to hire polisci journalists. Bernie Sanders and those following his platform aren't Socialists like Sweeden. They are Democratic Socialists like FDR. Stop repeating misnomers and educate yr readers or at least stop showing yr ignorance.
