@realDonaldTrump correctly praised military prowess of Robert E. Lee-He also immediately & as correctly noted that he'd been defeated by Ohio-born general & later 18th president Ulysses S Grant-To include just part of Trump's statement is further evidence of Newsweek's contempt.

Hyped Lee to praise *Grant* as the superior general for beating him. Couldn’t be bothered to actually follow for one more sentence, I guess. Whatever they pay you, it’s too much.

Trump is such a 'stable genius' that he goes up to Ohio, a Northern Union State during the Civil War, and praises Robert E. Lee, while calling Ulysses S. Grant a "drunk". I guess he's pandering to the other "stable geniuses" who live in Ohio and fly Confederate Flags with pride

As a lead up to praising Grant, who came from Georgetown Ohio near rally site. Is it just too difficult for you to follow his entire narrative at the rally? Of course it isn’t, you just choose to deal in half-truths. $1 is still more than you are worth.

Lincoln wanted Lee to head the Union Army, it is well accepted that Lee was the top general of his era going back to the Mexcian War, Trump's point was to praise Ohio's Grant who defeated Lee in front of an Ohio crowd. MSM bias always trying to create anti-Trump stories.

His words, actions, and mannerisms are so childish and juvenile. As he stands there with his little clinched fists and his thumbs up gestures, you can see the 12 year old mindset. He's incapable of being an adult. The sooner he's gone, the safer we'll all be.
