So they got a fact checker after they decided to publish Trump's op-ed. Fat lot of good it does after the fact. They have a responsibility to publish the truth. Otherwise it's just propaganda. Or , was it that they just couldn't say no to him because he's the POTUS?

USA Today can defend this all day long but the fact is that although you can provide people a wide leeway when expressing their opinions in a piece like that, those opinions should not be driven home by facts which are outright falsehoods. The media has a duty to not propagandize
