Why does it matter? They’re in a cave, who knows it’s night
-
Filling air bottles along relay route, resting swimmers. It's an arduous 11 hour round trip, strenuous physically and mentally challenging.
-
Yesterday it was 11 hours, today it took them 9 hours.

I think everyone would agree, time is of the essence. The other ones would be resting and I wouldn’t of stopped till they all were out. What if the cave flooded further?

They need to fill a lot of oxygen tanks and other things along the 2 mile long cave. Man power gets tired too. They might have a few of the best than can ready do the swimming. Not easy a lot of complex things.
