Someone asked me to do an explainer for why we only see one side of the Moon, showing that it still rotates. Well, accumulating so many animations now that I can say "here's one I made earlier!" –

1/ I have the feeling that all those Musk followers who want to move to Mars have extremely romanticised and unrealistic expectations of what it's like to live in another planet. Since I (kind of) live of Mars, let me tell you my own experience...

Happy palindrome day, whether you write the date DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY or even if you put the year first for some weird reason. 02/02/2020 is the only such date this century. The last one was over 900 years ago, on 11/11/1111. SO DON’T WASTE IT.

February 1, 1972: Florida Sens. Edward Gurney and Lawton Childs introduce joint resolution to rename Cape Kennedy as Cape Canaveral. The Kennedy Space Center would retain its name, as it was from KSC “and not from the Cape itself, that President Kennedy’s dream was realized.”

Big news in bill is human spflt provisions, esp lack of support for Artemis 2024, and for doing anything on Moon that deters from getting ppl to Mars (orbit in 2033, landing "as soon as practicable). Lunar outpost, ISRU on Moon, *not* considered part of "Moon to Mars" program.
