A high-school shooting in gun country: “To tell you the truth,”a resident of Santa Fe, Texas, said quietly, “the kids have gone crazy since they took God out of schools.”http://nyer.cm/FB8edFe

Must be really weird to try and explain all the church shootings..... Seems like we need more critical thinking in school rather than more religion....

The idea that anyone can “take” God out of anything denies God. And who is “they”?

Paradoxically, it also implies God. And, as Pogo once declared, "'They' is us."

God is in school more now than in the 70’s and 80’s. There’s the problem.

Yep. Has nothing to do with parents/family having multiple guns that aren’t secured. This is America, the right to own guns is more sacred The someone’s life.

Hard to fathom how silly this is. The problem isn't the absence of God. Americans are far more observant than Europeans, yet here are far fewer school shootings in Europe. The difference? Far fewer guns in Europe. Less God+fewer guns=fewer school shootings.

ROFLCGU! Just the thought of God being banned from anywhere makes me think your system of faith is shallow and superficial.

Wait just a minute. If God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, you couldn't take God out of schools if you wanted to. Having run out of things to blame for gun violence, gun lovers now want to blame God for not being there? I think it's the gun nuts who have gone crazy.
