Sad another brilliant writer gone. Phillip Roth was a phenomenal penner. I relished his books. They were so thought provoking and at times funny and he just Nailed so many things. 😢

Want to turn off Twitter and read an American Classic? Read “The Plot Against America” by the late great writer Philip Roth. R.I.P to one of the most consistent and prolific writers of our time.

One of my favorites! Our Gang and The Human Stain are two others that really hooked me.

Another mammoth loss. During my first jury trial, I killed the hour the jury was out with Portnoy’s Complaint. I could not have made a better decision; Mr Roth will be missed.

This is really sad😿I think the first book one of my sisters gave me to read was Portnoy’s Complaint or Goodbye Columbus. One of them may have been the first novel I ever read. THANK YOU and RIP MR. ROTH

I weep over the sloppy editorials to his legacy as if his only accomplishment was shaking up the established order with Portnoy's Complaint. Good god!
