In the past few years, a subset of straight men calling themselves “incels” have constructed a violent political ideology around the injustice of young, beautiful women refusing to have sex with them: http://nyer.cm/fxYsDf9 pic.twitter.com/tsEsgxBQT5

Unfortunately, their perception of injustice boils over into committing violent acts. The Santa Fe HS shooter killed a girl who rejected him; the Great Mills HS killed his ex-girlfriend; other shooters were domestic abusers. Violence is a way of exerting power. So what do we do?

It's such a simple thing, the ultimate no-brainer..... you can't despise someone and expect them to like you. This must be the most cancerous version of masculinity there is.

Incels, School Shootings, Safe-Spaces & the coveting of victimhood all stem from the tragic cause celebre of “protecting a child’s self-esteem” begun in the 90’s. Self-esteem cannot be built by protecting a child from adversity but by teaching them how to overcome it.

Show any proof of this. I raised my kids during the 90s. As were all thier school mates. None have committed a mass shooting. So unless you show some proof, stfu.

Obviously I wasn’t suggesting every kid goes psychotic. But I think we’ve ample evidence to suggest we’ve created a generation that has a harder time coping with adversity. In the 80’s we weren’t shooting our classmates because a girl turned us down or someone called us names.pic.twitter.com/mtYwZTLfL3

Show any proof. Post a link to any study that says how we raised our kids in the 90s has led to mass shootings. Anything. Just saying “ample evidence” does not make it true. If it’s just your opinion, say so.

The problem, in my opinion, is the availability of guns.http://bit.ly/2Ixnurm

Also, these kids who are doing the mass shootings in schools were raised in the 2000s. The Las Vegas shooter was 64. But please, tell me again about the ample evidence that it was how we raised our kids in the 90s that is causing all the mass shootings

soft minded men and women leaders across society (greed, hate, insecurity, bigotry, vanity etc etc ) .....drowning in old philosophy.
