1/ No. We don't. Barring rape and the extremely illegal sex slave trade, everyone in this country has total choice over their sexual partners (and clothes!) and can purchase contraceptives.

2/ You're crying wolf. The analogy belittles people who have *actually* been subject to oppressive regimes, and numbs your readership to the possibility that things could actually get worse, just as decrying Mitt Romney did. Does he seem radical now?

That's where we're heading. The normalization of political violence, permission to be misogynistic granted by our openly anti-woman leadership, the peeling back of hard won reproductive rights and female personhood, the breakdown of democratic norms/civil liberties. Scary times.

Trump has women in more positions of power than Obama did. This anti women thing is just rubbish. If you want to see Hand Maid’s Tale dystopia, replay the Nth Korean cheerleaders from the last Winter Olympics. Terrifying

Fantastic TV. Very bloody scary if we don't stop what's happening right now to women and children, this could well be our children's future. It's a massive alarm bell written 20 years ago. Prophetic!
