Donald Trump’s statements about the North Korea summit, such as saying that “everyone thinks” he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, may have put his signature foreign-policy initiative at risk: http://nyer.cm/5VIc972 pic.twitter.com/6BcKs3GAad

In fairness, and I say this as a fierce opponent of Donald Trump, the criterion for the Nobel Peace Prize going to the previous US president seem to have amounted to “meaning well.” So, again, Trump perhaps isn’t as crazy as he sounds….

To his credit, Obama's response was a dignified version of "WTF?" Even if by some miracle the Trump administration avoids bungling this interaction, the political inclination of the Nobel committee makes it unlikely Trump would be ever be awarded.

Trump & Un should share the prize, because they are two peas from the same autocratic, nuclear threatening scourge on humanity pod.

Yeah, cuz otherwise, dealing with North Korea is a paint by numbers trip to diplomatic magical land. Also, trump's a piece of shit...... so who wouldn't want to stay faithful to that.
