In the past few years, a subset of straight men calling themselves “incels” have constructed a violent political ideology around the injustice of young, beautiful women refusing to have sex with them: http://nyer.cm/JtWd8ey pic.twitter.com/7DzBfDjzeb

More fallout from the “everybody gets a trophy” culture begun in the 90’s. There are important lessons to be learned from losing in childhood that we carry into adulthood. Losing sucks but it forces us to look inward to find where we need to change and improve.

@jiatolentino Wow, that's quite the compassionate response. I've read the article, and it seems clear that some of these people need therapy. No mention of helping them in the article. But they are male, so not worthy of help, right Pam?

The defensive response is one we all fall into at times. We live in such an us vs them world. I will admit I tended toward pro women everything until I met Kelly Ann, Sarah and the one from the NRA. I don’t support their belief systems.

What's the difference? Incels believe they are a minority, subjugated class, trying to achieve equal rights. I don't agree with the philosophy, but it's a mirror image of people who want cushy jobs and not labor jobs

Incels are pretty much all white men, the most privileged class. Just because they are bad with women doesnt make them a separate ‘class’.
