You think there can be democracy while a tiny asset-owning billionaire class continue to tell governments around the world how economies should be run chiefly for their benefit?

Is it? Social networks and electronic devices can also exist in socialism or communism. What’s your point?

Unfettered capitalism is. When people of great wealth and corporations run the government that's a plutocracy

Because it is by it's very nature authoritarian. It decides for the citizen what he/she deserves. It decides what goods are distributed, leaving no room for choice. It also requires the repression of dissent.

That doesn’t answer my question. @jakehicks1206 said that communism is a thread to democracy. Communist countries (like Cuba or the DDR) all were based on democratically elected leadership structures. How’s that antidemocratic?

China is not socialist/communist or even attempting they are state capitaslist. They have a stock market, commodity production, currency.

That is a lie. China works on a 5 year plan system. They run zones where there is a highly regulated market. The rest of the country is run as a Maoist state, with next to no freedom of choice, no capital freedom and zero personal liberty.
