Q: Who would benefit from the demise of Eric Schneiderman ? A: Donald Trump
@SenFranken fell foul to Roger Stone & I wouldn't be surprised if Stone/Trump or one of Trumps goons did the same to Schneiderman... -
... The ultimate revenge would be that Hillary Clinton would be the next AG to New York, failing that Preet Bharara

After reading this article I am in awe of these brave ladies for stepping forward & sharing their chilling, horrifying stories

-
Brave...yes. Also it shows how "progressive", "strong", independent leftist women are so drawn to power and money from horrible abusive men that even they will make excuses for their abuse. Women love powerful/rich men...even to their detriment.
-
I disagree. As a survivor of domestic abuse, it's not about money or power. Abusers can be very charming and attentive. No one would believe someone like that would be capable of something so heinous. It shows how the strongest of women can be broken by abuse.
-
I understand, but women are certainly drawn to power and money in the men they pursue. It's understandable, but they seem to lose all perspective...especially the ideologues.
-
Be careful about lumping all “women” or whoevers together -people are way too nutty & complicated for that. Men can be drawn to power too - even in other men (romantically or not). Perspective is a valuable thing to retain.
-
Fair enough. I would then say "most" women. Again, I would be this way too because who wants to be poor? And you want smart guys who have the "right" genetics for your kids. It is completely logical...until you compromise your core beliefs. Then it isn't.
-
I respectfully disagree. I think that would be a pretty shallow relationship if that's all you're looking for. I'm poor and I HATE it. But I would NEVER lower myself to purposely seek out someone with wealth and/or power. Makes for a very lonely life.
-
That's admirable. But let's just hypothetically say that you have an equal probability of being unhappily married and poor vs unhappily married and wealthy. What would you choose? I think excessive money is also generally a curse, so I see your point.
